During our rafting trip in Colorado, our

raft got stuck on the rocks.  I had a great

ideathat set our raft free. It's the front of

the raft that is stuck, so let's all sit at the

back. Our    weight will probably shift the

raft off the rock. and Dad   called me an

expert. Marta, my sister, did not agree with

Dad completely. She still thought I was a

novice. However, Marta’s opinion changed

after we took a camping trip to Clear Lake.

Before the camping trip, Mom asked us to

gather our camping equipment. When I got

out our tent, I became worried. “Marta, this year we have to assemble the tent by ourselves!” I said. Marta said calmly, “Don’t worry, Nina. We can accomplish anything. Dad called you an expert, remember?” Our family arrived at the lake. Marta and I struggled for an hour to put our tent together. We couldn’t figure out how to use the poles and ties. It was getting dark, and Marta was feeling anxious. “Read the instructions again,” she said. I read the instructions again, but it was difficult to decipher the instructions. I said. “I’ve got an idea. Let’s look at Mom and Dad’s tent. Their tent is a perfect example, and all we have to do is copy it!” Marta looked unsure, but she agreed to study Mom and Dad’s tent with me. Then we  looked at the parts of our tent and began to assemble it. Finally, we finished the tent. Marta said, “We completed our mission! You really are an expert.”
